Yes, Crunchwrap

Well-Being Guidance

I am a self-proclaimed foodie. But I am a foodie with requirements. If you have been connected to me for any length of time you know what the first requirement is… right?!?! NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS OR BY PRODUCTS in my food, thank you. I am not here for flesh, menses, and pus being a part of my meals. Now, there was a time when all that would have been delectable but when you know better ____ [fill in the blank].

Anyway, back in the day I would devour a Crunchwrap from Taco Bell. I have even ordered one as a vegan, minus all the meat, cheese, and sour cream and it kinda took the fun out of it, so I decided to make my own. That is a better route anyway because I can control what is in it and make how I really want to. Crunchwraps are quick and easy to make. They are filling and I controlled the flavor, spice and everything nice about it.

The KhadijahWraps included refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, Tofutti Sour Cream, jalapeños, and Beyond Meat Crumbles, tostadas and tortillas. I look forward to making these again and remix it a little.

When it comes to making meatless meals the key is to be creative and brave enough to try something different. Expand your imagination and your palette and you will find some tasty treats. Remember seasoning is key – that is what makes flesh taste good. It is not the flesh itself, it is the seasoning. So spice up some veggies and legumes. Make those mushrooms flavor-filled with herbs and spices. Look up recipes, connect with other vegans who are doing the thang and ask questions.

Here’s to good food, good meatless meals, and flavorful feasts.
